My practice focuses on psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Visits may include supportive counseling, education, and discussion of coping strategies as part of treatment. For ongoing psychotherapy needs, I recommend working with a therapist.
ADHD medications may be prescribed when clinically appropriate after a comprehensive evaluation and with appropriate monitoring. In New Hampshire, it is required that the patient is seen in person annually by a provider (generally their PCP) for controlled substances to be legally prescribed. The appropriate records must be available and reviewed before any controlled substance prescription can be sent, per state regulations.
I evaluate and treat many children and adolescents with autism and neurodivergence-related concerns. When formal diagnostic testing is needed, I may recommend referral for additional evaluation.
Often, yes. However, depending on the complexity of your symptoms, history, or other factors, additional visits may sometimes be needed before making a diagnosis or starting medication. My priority is to make a thoughtful, individualized treatment plan rather than rush to a diagnosis or medication before I have enough information.
No. Patients must be physically located in New Hampshire during appointments.
No. Currently, I only offer services via telehealth.
No. This is an outpatient psychiatric practice and does not provide emergency services. In an emergency, call 911, go to the nearest emergency department, or contact 988.
Yes. Private pay clients can access the portal here. Headway clients can send messages through the Headway patient portal.
Yes. Maintaining an established primary care provider and routine medical care, including annual physical/well-child visits, is required for ongoing psychiatric medication management.
